About me
Hi! I’m Daniel, a web developer based in Cesis, Latvia. I build modern, responsive websites and applications with a focus on clean design and solid functionality. I enjoy working across the full stack and constantly learning new tools to improve my skills. I regularly participate in hackathons, where I thrive on fast-paced problem-solving and creative teamwork. These experiences have helped me grow as a developer and taught me how to quickly turn ideas into working solutions. I’m passionate about coding, curious by nature, and always looking for the next challenge. Whether it’s a team project or a solo build, I bring energy, focus, and a drive to create something great.

This is a simple and clean weather app that shows real-time weather data using an external API. It lets users check the current temperature, conditions, and location-based forecasts. Built for speed and clarity, it's a practical project that combines API integration with responsive design.

This project is a Nord Pool clone that displays electricity prices using data from a static API. It presents pricing information in a clear, user-friendly interface with up-to-date visuals. The app is built for simplicity and accuracy, making energy data easy to access and understand.

TRK Joke is a humorous app that fetches classic Chuck Norris jokes using the Chuck Norris API. We gave it a twist by replacing Chuck Norris with "Toms Ričards Krieviņš" for a personalized parody experience. Built as a joke project, it’s all about having a laugh and not taking things too seriously.

Ingrdease is a smart recipe app built during the "Tīri labi apritei" hackathon. Users can input the ingredients they have at home, and the app suggests recipes to reduce food waste and make cooking easier. It's all about sustainable living, smart cooking, and making the most of what you’ve got.
